Meet Caleb Bosveld - running to become the youngest city councillor in Hamilton’s history. He brings a fresh, in-touch perspective shaped by real, lived experience in Ward 8.
About Caleb
Caleb Bosveld has called Ward 8 home since he was six years old. Growing up here, he’s seen firsthand how the community has grown, changed, and faced new challenges. As a near lifelong resident, Caleb understands the concerns of today’s residents because he lives them too.
Caleb is currently enrolled in Redeemer University's business program, and is a member of the Royals men's volleyball team. Additionally, he has experience working as a project coordinator with Flourish, an affordable housing developer, and as an operations manager with Vendi Sales Consulting.
In his free time, Caleb is a passionate volleyball and basketball player-coach. He has led sports camps for youth in the city, and coached multiple volleyball teams.
What sets Caleb apart is his fresh perspective. As a younger candidate, he's in touch with the day-to-day realities and voices that are often overlooked in politics. He’s not here to recycle old ideas -he’s here to listen, to act, and to bring real energy and accountability to City Hall.
